I'm going to the Manchester show tomorrow as i'm going to start showing my Wirehaired Vizsla, are people generally ok about haivng photos and video taken at the shows? I don't want to upset the apple cart, was hoping to get some tips to study at home before we go to our first show at the end of Feb,
Thanks

Mark

they love it in my breed especially if you tag them on facebook lol. i suppose each breed is probably different, but as long as there is no flash i cant see why anyone would mind

I would ask the owner of the dog out of courtesy, more often than not, they will say yes & be pleased and then offer to stand the dog correctly for you on a part of the showground that is quieter so you have more chance of taking a better photo.   Well, at least this is what I have found in my own breed.
3 litters of Munsters = 3 Sh.Ch's & 3 RCC winners! Not bad eh?

That's what we did, thankfully the first person we met was one of the chairmen of the breed society and we managed to get people's phone numbers and got lots of help over the first year.
