my eleven month old collie pup has a half inch bald spot under one eye,its got slightly bigger over 2 weeks,doesnt itch or look sore.A friend thought it could be dermodectic mange,which sounds scary!obviously il take her to the vets if it grows any bigger,but could i ask your advice,please?

Sorry no advice as it's not something I've experienced but I'd go to the vet.  Anything out of the norm deserves to be checked, particularly as it seems to have got bigger...

One of our collies had exactly the same thing at that age and we thought it was mange but turned out not to be. I cannot remember what the vet called it but one course of antibiotics and it was sorted. His hair grew back no problem.

took her to the vets last night,ive got to wait and see for two or three weeks,to see  if the hair starts to grow back,if it gets worse,theyl do tests.thanks for responding!
