One of my dogs is not very good with other dogs and also does not like some people so I tend to walk him in a basket muzzle. However due to my worsening back problem it would help if i could use a head collar as it really hurts my back if he pulls or lunges. Does anyone know of a head collar or other stop pulling device that could be used with a muzzle?

Hi,

The gentle leader can be used with a basket muzzle as the lop at the bottom of the headcollar that the lead attaches to can be fed through the bottom of the muzzle or you could I would think use a canny collar which leads from the back of the head :-)

ive seen people use gencons with muzzles as they come off the back of the head.
Hit goal weight back in May .... could still do with losing a bit more though !!

We use a gencon (headcollar only with a lead attached) with our boy when he wears his muzzle.

Another vote for Gencons here.
One Golden is never enough! One Dobermann is more than enough!

Thanks, He didn't get on very well with the Gencon but I do have a canny collar and the lead attaches to the bck. I will try that.
