a friends dog is due to whelp tommorow and for the last week her temp has been up and down between 100-99 and today it is 98 is this her drop ? also she has said she was digging last night and has done 3 poos since 5 this morning last one was loose also she is very restless and sleeping alot staring at her bum and licking herself alot her boyfriend also said he saw some contractions this morning is this the pups getting in place to be born im am convinced this is it and she will have the pups soon but just wanted the opinions of more experienced breedrs from what i have described how long would you say as im gonna go and help her deliver but her girl is being completely different to when my girl (her mum) whelped as she was textbook any advice appreciated thanks xx

her temp went bk up too 100 and is now at 98 she has stopped eating and is still digging at her bed but no sign of the drop in temp . 98 has been the norm for her throughout the pregnancy until last week when it went to 100 and then went up and down between 98 too 100

most drop down to 97 for the big drop and stays there . Look at her eyes to see if they glaze over and go pink this is because she is in pain.I hope she hasnt had contractions as it is too long with nothing happening.You can see contractions with a ripple down her back.

This can go on for a good few days , it did with my last litter but be prepared for anytime!!

the lady who owns her has just text to say she wont come out of her bed her temp is at 36.8
so far i have told her pretty much what people have said here but just wanted some reasurance i was giving correct advice i have said if nothing by tommorow to get her checked over she is 65 days from 1st tie today and 62 from last

if her temp is that then she not be long now ,the girl i had here went 12h from her temp dropping to 35.8 ,hope all goes well for her x

i have just been told she has thrown up yellow bile and is digging again how long would you say she has to go

thats a hard 1 every girls different as every whelp is!!! is she contracting yet?

not that i know of she is just laid in her bed and is restless her temp is still 36.2

could awhile yet then ,she just needs to keep an eye out for her to start contracting.

Exactly why I won't lift endorsements to allow ignorant novices to breed.  Once Ive sold a puppy I lose control and I won't allow my bitches to be subjected to risk and distress.

she has had 7 so far 3 girls 4 boys 1 girl didnt make it unfortunatly no body is here exept me and her owner and she has done fab
