Hi All,

Can anybody point me in the direction of a company that sells dog crates with the side/end doors that open and sit on top?
I know I have seen them........or I am going mad-no need to answer that.

Jeff.

A friend asked me to get them one of ebay, can't remember who sold it though. It was brand new.

gwdavies28 is the sellers ID, link is for small but they do all sizes.

I got 2 of them, open doors on long side and 1 end, other end is up & over.

GWDavies (= Stock Nutrition at the shows)
Cages cheaper through Ebay.

Really pleased with mine I have two of 42" and one 48".
They are very heavy but strong, they have a hammerite type finish

They are three door cages, the up and over door is in one of the ends.

Thumbs up from here :-)

Sorry to barge in on your thread but I wandered if you can get ones that are up and over but with the long side being the up and over door - does anyone know of any of these?

another vote for doghealth.  The bottom of them is plastic and mine was cracked so they were able to send me a new one, i am not aware of other companies selling the liner bit seperate.

This is what I'd need and I like the idea of the door being out of the way til it's required.  I'm sick of banging into mine!

I've been looking online lots today and can't find anything :-( The only ones I can find are car crates that taper a lot at the top which are no good for me plus most of those only seem to be 27 ins high even the larger ones, will keep looking though.

Dave at Barnesbrook will make custom crates and you couldn't wish to meet a more helpful chap. He even sent me a template to try in my car to see if the crate would fit as I needed it to be taller than normal to allow my GR to sit up with ease. I am really pleased with his product and cannot fault the service. He has a website www.dogcages.net.
