CC Breeds and all Stakes -- 1st entry £22. Non-CC Breeds, AVNSC, Imported Register & Not For
Competition -- 1st Entry £12. All subsequent entries with the same dog -- £3.

Does that mean its £22 for dogs that have a CC or is it £22 for classes that offer a CC?

confused, much!

It's £22 for the first entry in classes for breeds that have a CC on offer at that show.

It is a lot to take in to begin with. My freind and I look back at our first champshow all the time. We were like kids on our first day at school. I think we both qualified for Crufts by default and we so pleased on the way home :-)

I dont think i will ever qualify for Crufts!! hahahaha.

How did you win by default? Was there only 3 dogs in class or something?

Yes we both had bought male puppies for showing and both qualified by default 3rd out of 3 I think LOL...  We had a great day though.

It was Darlington and I always remember the girl set up next to us with such beautiful dogs, ( I am sure she thought My freind and I were mad) The girl had a puppy there ( who was best puppy that day) and I just adored him from the minute I saw him.  I have daughters and granddaughters of him.

We stayed at some hotel near Scotch Corner and one of the beds had a milk crate underneath it.  We laughed and laughed.  Think you have to have fun showing really.   My freind never really continued showing and I did but we had a laugh.

Brilliant!

I only really got into dog showing as my good friend shows her collies up to Crufts level, we have arranged a weekend away with the caravan on tow and pugs and collies to the border union champ show. Cant wait its going to be such a laugh, plus the collies and pugs are on the same day so even more fun!

Oh I remember my first Border Union in the caravan - the field resembled a WW1 battlefield - caravans were being towed in and out of pitches by someone's 4WD. Had to take a trip into Kelso on the first day to buy wellies for my then 3 year old so she could walk rather than be carried. Oh what fun! :-D

Lol Blue, that's what I hoped for by taking my bitch up to Scotland, she's good at open level but not up to Champ shows. Alas, there were 4 of us in the class and the other 3 were champions...... :-D
