> Am i expecting too much from my pup?
Maybe. Some seem to 'get it' faster than others but they all rely on us to help them understand when they need to go outside. If you aren't there to read the signs then you will still have the odd accident. 2 hours doesn't sound too long but it depends on when she had her last drink, her food, or whether she went 'properly' before you left. It could also be an excitement wee when she hears you come home, can you tell if it's a recent one?
My lad seemed to take longer than some of his litter mates but he'd sleep so deeply sometimes that even a bursting bladder wouldn't wake him and we'd only have milliseconds after waking to get him outside. He never read the books about not peeing in his own bed. He'd also get so busy outside that he sometimes wouldn't finish before wandering off - leading him to pee on his own chin
