Some of us have been members on Champdogs for a long time (
some might say too long) and after four or five years' one begins to recognise the posters that come on and want validation for breeding pet dogs with absolutely no thought to health testing - after all, the vet has said that their dog is healthy! - some of us are involved in breed rescue and know how many adolescent dogs finish up in rescue because their owners have not appreciated what they are taking on - and when the old haggard members here pipe up and say our bit, it is not welcomed!
Often those who have bruised feelings will stay, will realise that they have been given good advice - and become crusaders themselves!
We do have to keep hammering the message home because Champdogs is one of the first websites that comes up when one googles "having puppies" - so it is important that we keep saying how important it is to health test, to breed only from dogs with good temperament etc etc etc .....

Treat every stressful situation as a dog would. Pee on it and walk away
