Holiday Inn Express are usually quite good, the ones I have stayed in are usually cleaner than Travel Inn as well. We got one booked for Crufts for £45 and no charge for the dog and you also get breakfast thrown in
I think it depends where you are wanting to stay, if you want dog friendly and what you are needed the hotel for. I was looking for a hotel to stay in near Soho in London, checked out Premier Inn and it was £90 a night and all the reviews said the hotel was dirty and damp. Looked on lastminute.com and found a 4 star hotel for £99 reduced from £370! So it's worth checking out those sort of website, it wasn't even a 'last minute' deal as we booked 2 weeks in advance
It's not for dogs - it's for work, a professional course that he would like to go on but is too far to do in one day so needs to be just bed and brekkie
Of course I think we should get a small 'stealth' camper, that way he could go on these courses and we would also be able to travel and stay at shows etc.
It's not what you say, it's what you DO that counts...
