Has anybody had there dogs tested, and how is it done, is it a simple blood test.
A friend of mine has imported semen from the states, and the stud dog owner wouldnt allow semen to be sent without the bitch being thyroid tested first.
Is this a common factor??

Is in some breeds.

Just bloods but ensure tha they are sent for both types of thyroid testing.  Sure someone on here will advise you which ones,
If I wanted a Poodle, OES, TT or IWS I would have bought one. SWD's shd. be natural and rustic. No

The best thing is to get the blood taken by your friend's vet and sent to world expert, Dr Jean Dodds, in the States, who runs much more comprehensive tests than those taken in the UK.

I send my 2 Dobes blood each year for testing. Dr Dodds is incredibly helpful and always willing to answer e-mails quickly with any queries.

One Golden is never enough! One Dobermann is more than enough!
