I am needing to vent off a little!!

Should of been at a show today and couldn't make it , I am so annoyed at myself!

I've never missed a show when I've entered before but got rushed to hospital last night with suspected ectopic pregnancy and they kept me in.
I cried because I wanted to come home and get ready for the show this morning.
So I've had people tell me I'm mad because I need to think about myself more , but I think I am thinking about myself ( I wanted to go to the show and THAT'S THAT"!)

I got out of hospital about 3 o'clock and am bored out my mind now , a scan showed that the baby isnt in the tube and is in the right place , but they can't find a reason for all me pain on the left side. Have to go back Wednesday for re scan as they couldn't find a heart beat today but it is still early days ,so they say and it should have one by Wednesday (fingers crossed)

Hubby is trying to see to the dogs but he's doing it all wrong! I have a really easy routine but can he grasp it? Can he heck!!!
I'm so used to doing everything this sitting / lying down resting will not be lasting much longer I can tell you  , I going round the bend and it's only been two hours.

There that feels a bit better now!

As for your hubby doing the dogs all wrong, mine does too lol x im so scared of him leaving gates open etc i'd rather do them myself, us women have routines than men cant grasp, they cannot multi task ha ha!

I can understnad you're frustrations but you do need to rest . it is frustrating when our dogs (or anything in fact) isnt done as we would do it but be grateful your hubby is doing something and im sure the dogs will be fine, even if they are not being treated like your high standards!
Think of the baby and also, talk to your husband, you sound like you are ok about it all but i imagine he may be feeling very worried and like there is nothing the can do. Keep him involved.

I think sometimes we don't think straight . I was in hospital once, very close to dying, and I kept telling the doctors I HAD to go home because I was meant to be at a cat show at the weekend and I would not have time to bath the cats unless I was allowed home instantly. With hindsight it was better to be kept alive and miss the show -same goes for your baby.

I was in hospital paralyzed in one leg and no strength on back for me to get round on crutches or in a wheelchair down last October. I was insisting to the doctors that they needed to discharge me as I needed to get to South Wales Kennel Club... needless to say I "saw sense" and stayed in and missed the show

Oh dear, you are stressing!

Hopefully you have calmed down now. You know if you are having pain then you have to do as the doctors say, a lot of things in our lives interfere with our routines but, nothing would get in the way of me making sure my baby was delivered safe and sound that is your priority now and if you have to rest, or go into hospital until they are sure everything is fine then you just have to do it, and not let anything else worry you.

Remember your hormones may well be raging too, making you feel more upset.

Imagine if you are miles away and suddenly doubled up in pain, until they know what is causing it, (may be nothing more than wind ) then you take no risks.

As for hubbies not doing things as we do of course they don't (goes without saying) my trick is instead of getting frustrated and stressing to just keep saying to yourself, bless him he's trying to help, Yes, he really is trying to help. (cringe) but focus on the good of it, not the argghhh.

We can all get back to doing things right! when we are up to it. Let go.

Very good advice, as I for one definitely take my hubbies attempts to help for granted. Poor man can't win, if he doesn't do something I grumble, and if he does, then I complain he hasn't done a good job. Tomorrow I will concentrate on the positives, then maybe he will enjoy the praise and work even harder!!

Thanks everyone for being so nice to me.
I have calmed down a lot today , my hormones are raging ( so my family tell me) but I am trying to keep calm, my pain which I've had is also not as bad today , so that'll be helping aswell.
I'm going to take it easy until Wednesday and hopefully I'll get a good result.
Hubby says he isn't allowing me to do anymore shows if I'm going to go on being daft. But I will just keep my cool and in a few weeks time if things go okay maybe I'll get to a show or two.

I've taken a step back and can see that he really is trying  to help , he's seen to the dogs for me today and you know he's been really good with them. I was just terrible yesterday I was quite nasty with him last night so before I got too bad I took myself off to bed . It must've worked as I woke in a much better frame of mind and sat and listened to him this morning and he has been really worried about me ( I just couldn't see it at the time ).

Ahhh.... don't you just love it when they get all macho and protective. Of course he is worried, let him feel needed.

Oh bless sounds like you have a gooden.  Try and take a stap back is this your first baby? they can get a bit mushy (men) but you have to share a bit more and for emergencies write down how to do the dogs properly!!.

Appendix is really really painful on the right mine didnt radiate left!! It coul;d have been a bit of colic or even a pulled muscle but at least you have been checked out I lost no. 2 so better safe then sad.

Good idea , I'll write everything down just incase I ever get kept in hospital again.

No it's not my first , we have a six year old son and he's desperate for a brother or sister. It's hard trying to keep all this from him but we need to make sure things are okay before we tell him , we were thinking of taking him  to the twelve week scan if things go okay on Wednesday.

Maybe a pulled muscle , I have a heavy drain cover which I lift all the time to get rid of all the dog poo, but my family are helping out with that now.

I lost a baby a year ago and one about eight years ago so I'm not building my hopes up just yet.

Thanks and stop lifting manholes!!! I moved house after baby no.1 and thats why i had a problem I think I had baby no 2 well enough.
