Hiya - As a special treat for me and Hubby (and becasue I am sad that I can't show my little pug girl hopefully she's in the family way!) I am looking at booking for the full Patrons Day at Crufts - thing is it's really expensive at £95 each, I don't mind paying if it's worth it as it's a very special treat but has anyone else been and what did they think?????

No had it myseld but it looks like you get your admission ticket & a prority to watch the Groups, which is free anyway and usually you can get a seat.
You get a posh lunch & free drinks etc

If it was me, I'd just buy normal admission tickets & spend the rest of the money on things at the show & get a big hot dog for lunch! :-)
Dogs are like chocolates, you can't have just one!

yes that's kind of what I am thinking myself, however it would be nice to thank my Husband for getting up ridiculously early on weekends, driving to god knows where to hang around dog shows and also for handing over the house and the bed to the Pugs.

Mind you, if I don't buy the tickets then there is more money to spend on stuff.....

I suppose if it's for your hubby then you have to think what would he enjoy more?
Going round the show looking a judging, stalls, discover dogs, activity rings etc
or
Doing some of that and then going to the Patrons Clubs for lunch & watching some footage on the tv screens (guessing it'll be the arena showing the flyball, agility etc)

Which ever you choose, I hope you have a lovely time :-) x

My OH is getting a real treat this year ......... im leaving him at home !!
Hit goal weight back in May .... could still do with losing a bit more though !!

Think if I was in your position I would get normal tickets and put the £140 you will save on a non doggy outting together.  You both clearly love dogs, but a bigger thank you maybe some alone time away from all dogs.  (I know thats what my OH would want!)

Does the hubby have a favourite football team? you could use the money to take him to a footy game that he might really enjoy. Boot on the other foot or so to say.................. if he's not into footy then maybe a daytrip away ;-)
Look in to the eyes of your dog and imagine life with out him/her. Then appreciate them like never b

He actually wants to go! He's a northerner from a tough mining town so he would never openly admit to liking showing dogs as a hobby, especially Pugs -  but he does secretely enjoy it. Think I'm just going to book it and just hope that it's worth the money, we are not getting a holiday this year it will be a special treat

I know my OH would rather go to the grand prix!! which starts the weekend after Crufts...
Faithful and true to the last beat of his heart.
