Some of you may of read my earlier post about my suspected ectopic pregnancy.
There was a baby there and luckily it was in the right place but had no heart beat ( on Saturday ).

And I know everyone wanted an update , so this afternoon I had a rescan and HOORAY they found a heartbeat I'm over the moon.
I know it's early days as I am only seven weeks but I have a much better feeling about this now.
Just got to get over the next 5 or 6 weeks of sickness and I should be back to feeling human and get showing my dogs again.

glad everything is ok, my little one is 9 months old now ... know how you feel with regards to the dogs, I was walking them even whilst having contractions the day before I gave birth and whilst my OH was loading my bag etc into the car ready to go to hospital I was still sorting out dog food, bowls and instructions for my mum !!

I think I was very lucky, I ran in agility practically until the end and also managed to gain my dogs stud book number at 8 months pregnant .... I was HUGE and have a breed that needs to be moved at a reasonable pace (I expect the surrounding areas thought there was an earthquake !!)
Hit goal weight back in May .... could still do with losing a bit more though !!

lol, I had to stop every 4 minutes to breathe through a contraction ....... then I had to phone my mum to make sure she was coming to get the dogs straight away !

Oh god, you sound just like me ClaireyS.  It's nigh on impossible to just completely hand over the reins isn't it, my husband was despairing with me as I just wouldn't sit still and leave the dogs to him ha ha!  I managed a RCC at a Champ show at about 8 months preg too, with a puppy, think the judge was worried I'd go into labour I was so pleased!

So glad for you cani1, hope things keep going smoothly for you and you don't get too poorly!
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.

I worked in a riding school until the morning I had my daughter! Thought I had over done it mucking out 10 boxes and that was why I had back ache when I went for check up....turned out I was 5cm dilated!!! Was a bit of a shock when they told me that. I groomed at the National Dressage Championships at 7 months pregnant and competed up until that point too. It used to amuse me to see clients faces when I took them out hackng and half way round dropped in that I was 8 months pregnant!!! I was picky what I rode though and had to give up riding my own horse who wasn't particularly sensible!! I wasn't dog showing at that point but if I had been I'd have continued with that too.

Glad the scan went well, take it easy though for next few weeks. They took me in at 10 weeks pregnant with suspected eptopic pregnancy, luckly it wasn't but it was a very worrying time and I made myself rest for a bit.

Thanks everyone , I'm going to be sensible for the next month , then I will be showing again!
I help out at my ringcraft sometimes and I'm still going to do that so at last I'll still get my weekly fix.

Congratulations im 23 weeks now and have a little mound growing. We wanted to keep the sex a suprise, i cannot wait till baby arrives. Going shopping tomorrow for bits. Has been moving alot today which is the best feeling ever. I got sickness really badly but its a good sign, all those hormones are present to let your body know there is a baby in there. xx

Congratulations :-D   that's wonderful news, bet you were more worried than you were letting on  ;-)

You'll know how much you're able to do, just listen to what your body is telling you :-)
It's not what you say, it's what you DO that counts...
