If you are looking to purchase a GSD pup, please read the following....
I bought my GSD Girl from a breeder.  I had her to the age of 3 years, at which point she had to be destroyed...
She had allergies to all meat except turkey and fish.  Her skin was covered in excema, and turned black. Her ears were constantly infected, and required surgery.  She was constantly agitated. And although she lived with 2 other dogs, she was very aggressive towards other dogs.  She could not be walked because of the aggression, and despite private training and attempts to socialise her at a GSD club.  Despite all her health and behavioural problems, she was a sweet girl, very intelligent and loyal.  But then came the night when she attacked one of my other dogs,  and unfortunately he died 6 hours later.  Then within days she started to growl at my other year old sheppard.  I tried to get the prison service and army to take her,but because of the allergies, they wouldnt take her.  It broke my heart the day she had to be euthanised, and it still hurts to think about her.
Please be careful who you buy from.

Just checked out your GSD site, the dogs are a credit to you all.
Unfortunately thoughts of Mica surfaced, and the floodgates opened.  Think this may take a while yet. I just hope enough people get to read my blog.

I know, they get into your heart dont they? i still cry over losing our boy Lardo last year, to the cruel torsion, aged 5, its no age.
