It turns my stomach but for the past 3 or 4 days a handful of the pups in my litter are completely obssessed with eating the fresh poo of their littermates. They are all nicely plump and are not hungry but some of then even when the food is down will follow their littermates away from the b owls to the puppy pads and eat their poo as its coming out!!!! I thought that maybe they still preferred the warm sensation of the puppy mush I used when I was weaning them so I started warming their feed but it made no difference. My last litter did it occasionally but nothing like these little horrors. I know in adults it can indicate that they are lacking in something but would appreciate your advice and views. Its hard enjoying my toast with a puppy devouring a warm smelly poo right next to me!!!!!

What are you feeding them?

They are on JWB with a tiny bit of chicken mince and a  little bit of water. Maybe it tastes just as good coming out as it does going in!!!!
