>Home Secretary Alan Johnson this week announced plans to crack down on so-called "devil" dogs.
>The proposals include compulsory insurance for all dogs, which would cover victim compensation if they attack, >and the issuing of "Dogbo" orders - a canine Asbo - which would force owners to muzzle or neuter their beasts.
>But the gang members we spoke to, who live on a tough estate in Plumstead south-east London, laughed at >the measures which could force law-abiding dog owners to fork out £500 for insurance.
>Chris, 26, says: "It won't make a blind bit of difference. Can you really see the gangs paying for insurance? >What a waste of time."
It's not the dogs that are the problem, it's the pathetic little scroats that own them - castrate the hoodies, PTS thier dogs (to free them from a life of pain, anger & violence and protect the public from the danger they have been trained to be) and maybe we will be getting somewhere.> Chris says: "We make the dogs anti-human. First thing is to lock the dog away, isolate them for weeks. I only let it see me so it doesn't trust anyone else.
There should be much harsher sentancing for animal cruelty!
, but if 'Chris' is the real deal then why doesn't the paper go to the police with the information? Two reasons- telling the police doesn't sell papers and it won't get the general public wound up about 'devil dogs'. We are also close to an election and this paper is one which has recently changed its political affiliation from labour to conservative so the story provides yet another method presenting the current government as cr*p. I read the Scottish version of this paper ( which has not yet changed political affiliation) and I can't remember any such story there.
> im sure the dog could be found a good home with loving people that wolud help train it better and give it all the love and help it needed to become a good pet,
