Are there any breeders in the UK. A lady who often walks dogs at work was interested in the breed but can't seem to find any in the UK to talk to.
I looked on here and didn't see any....Do they go by another name.

I believe there may be, but not necessarily pure-bred; brought in by security dog trainers & breeders. Some are called Dutch Herders and I believe these may refer to the working type crossed to Belgian Malinois. Have seen one or two turn up on rescue sites over the last year or two but again, no guarantee they are the genuine article, or a cross-bred by-product of the security dog sector. I doubt there's any - or many - here that are show-type, brought in for their own sake as a breed, pure bred & registered as such.

This is a link to the breed club of "Hollandse Herdershonde".
It's a Dutch breed, that comes in three different varieties.
A breed recognized by the FCI.

yep they are a recognised breed and quite popular on the continent especially for Mondial sports -they are  very similar to the BSD.
