Just wanted to say hello!   My girl is about to whelp (58 days now) and it is a first for me and quite unplanned, although she is a beautiful black lab and her mate is also and both have good pedigrees and are unrelated so hopefully it should all be good!   A bit nervous obviously and even more so after reading a lot of these blogs - there is so much to take in and problems that can occur.  I think I have read enough and have everything ready.  I just hope some of you are online during whelping in case of any unusual happenings - it seems really useful to have everyones input and support.  LOL!

You need to ask your question on the general forum as not so many people look here on the blogs - the blog is for doing a diary type of post rather than questions. Hope that helps
