Suffolk bull breeders???? have you had a puppy of them any info would be great...
Our Bulldogs contain between 50% and 75% British Bulldog and small percentages of other Bullbreeds, such as the Bull Mastiff, American Bulldog and other Bullbreed hybrids. Are you looking for a pure bred bulldog as it appears these ain't, basically they are cross-breed/mongrels of the bull type.

I'm glad you said it Tatty-ead, I was thinking the same thing. They also seem to have an awful lot of dogs or is that just me?
Me, my partner, my daughter, a Logan, a Shadow, a Roo, a Solo, a Poppy, a Bugsy and a Roger.........

Also that tel no is in Norfolk not Suffolk!!
Basically, you are buying from a breeder of cross breeds! I can find no mention of KC registration - plenty of reasons why cross-bred "We have always been interested in improving a breed by cross-breeding with similar or related breeds"
Their definition of a bulldog "A dog created initially as a family pet then became no more than an exaggerated characature, riddled with health problems and cursed with a short lifespan." although they do say "Our initial interest was in the guarding and hunting breeds or working dogs, yet our interests rapidly changed in terms of breeding these types of dogs due to the unsavoury nature of many of the people wanting to own them."
Very slick website ...but....
I know absolutely nothing about bull breeds - but if these are the breeds for you, I would suggest that you look at the KC-registered breeders - talk to them and make your own decisions!
Treat every stressful situation as a dog would. Pee on it and walk away

Never heard of them.
The hurrier I go - the behinder I get!
There are a number of breeders trying to recreate what they see as the original bulldog - this looks like another. Personally I think the dogs look a bit less exaggerated than your typical KC bulldog but there's always the fear that anyone trying to (re)create a breed must be producing an awful lot of puppies (can they really take full lifetime responsibility for that many) and some of those will diverge from what the type they desire more than with a recognised breed. In other words you may want a bulldoggy type dog but end up with one showing more characteristics of a bull mastiff or some other breed in the makeup.

They are crossing staffs and bulldogs to try and make money *cough* create a healthier bulldogs but without testing, making them less exaggerated bulldogs or more squat staffs either way you look at it. charge high prices too.

Any breed which has been bred for a particular look can be altered by selective breeding, so if these breeders are using bulldogs only then I think they are perhaps doing something they might genuinely think is a better bulldog. It was done with working clumbers which were bred to be a little lighter than the traditional show clumber.
Otherwise if they are crossing them with Staffies then I would have to question motives. It for the breed? Are they trying to create a new bulldog which will become a status dog and always in the news like the pitbulls are? Will they be connected to dog fighting circles? And last but not least are they doing this first and foremost for money?
I think it is a case of "Buyer Beware".
