Hi, newbie here!

Can anyone tell me if they know of any breeders in the UK of either King or Shiloh Shepherds? Looking online it appears to be solely the USA that breeds these dogs (I hope that's not true ...)

Sorry can't help I do not know what they are - could be they are one of the USA designer breeds as the do not appear in the American kennel club lists, well not that I have ever noticed.

They're basically just over-sized GSDs.

Yep, have found some info now, they are a cross-breed between about four other breed including GSD and Mals, a designer dog developed in 1995 as far as I know they are not recognised by and kennel association. There could well be people in the UK who are doing the same sort of crosses but I would tread with great care.

Sorry Mrsp2003 but there is no way the dogs you are interested in would be KC registered on the breed list.

What is it you are wanting from your dog, I take it you are not just interested in their looks, is it some activity you have in mind, if so let us know and we may be able to come up with a suggestion of a recognised breed that would fit the bill.

As it's not a KC recognised breed you won't be able to get a KC registered one, I'm afraid, even if you could find one in this country.
