I have done obedience and working trials in the past.  So I hope I would be able to give a good home to a border collie.  I still go to training but don't know if I will compete again.  I am looking for a collie puppy with drive but not too worky.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Would it be best to look for a show line puppy?

No I wouldn't have thought so  - many show lines would be great, but not others...again, those with working lines could be too herdy, but most wouldn't be. A good mix may suit better.   Whereabouts are you?
Agility is fun

I live in Yorkshire but would be prepared to travel for the right dog.

I know of a very nice litter but they are in West Sussex so that would be quite a journey!!

If you want to PM me I have a friend who has just mated a bitch. South Yorkshire. Showlines but I know the bitch in question and she's pretty keen, has done some obedience -used to go to the same classes as me.
Marianne. Dogs are not our whole lives, there are cats too!

Thanks but I think that would be just too far given that more than one visit is needed.
