I got a sample packet of Royal Canin Adult food for medium dogs with a magazine yesterday but I don't know anyone who uses this brand of food.

Fiona, it is an excellent food

Have you considered keeping it and using it in place of treats or for reward training?

We treat Holly with her Nutro or raw carrots as we've found that anything else makes her really windy!!!
