A retired neighbour of mine is looking for middle-age or elderly sheltie bitch(she always seems to rescue the oldies!).She lost an elderly sheltie a few months ago and currently has a male cavalier.She can offer a fantastic home.Thanks.

Thanks for asking.Well,she has ended up fostering some ex puppy farm bitches(designer crossbreeds plus 2 cavaliers) from a rescue kennels and it looks likely she will keep at least 1 possibly 2 of them so it looks unlikely she will get a sheltie now-I guess this must happen all the time with fostering.One of the crosses was mated at 9 months! Fortunately there were no puppies and the puppy farmer decided to dump her.Another is so petrified of everything my neighbour still can't touch her after 2 weeks-she is so nervous she will be virtually impossible to rehome so will probably be staying(and yes she was bred from!).And she's going to keep one of the cavaliers.I expect she will get her sheltie one day though.

well  done to her for taking them on . no easy task. hope all goes well and one day she will get her sheltie.  good luck x
