Hi,
We're looking for a young\puppy Ridgeback male to give a loving home too. We're experienced Ridgeback owners and would give the dog plenty of love and exercise. We're not interested in breeding so it doesn't matter if castrated or not KG reg'd, ridgeless OK, but no crossbreeds thanks.
Happy to travel to meet dog and discuss. We're in the North East of England.
We're also looking at Rescue kennels and wouldn't be interested in buying a dog for cash.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and please contact me via a reply\PM if you know of a dog(or owner) in need!.

Hi tadog,
I'm waiting on a callback from Midlands, just looking out for myself aswell.. sometimes people advertise or know of a dog in need of rehoming before the rescue's get involved.
Thanks
MW

Think the OP is looking for a 'free' dog so rescue kennels would not help as most if not all expect some sort of donation, the same may well be the same with private individuals many of whom would want a donation to the breed rescue at the very least.

No.. we're not after a free dog, a donation to a rescue centre is fine...

Sorry I misunderstood your first post, thought you said you were not prepared to give cash for a dog.

Hi Nova,
Thats OK, perhaps I should have been more clear in my first post. No problem donating to a rescue centre but not wanting to spend X hundreds on a dog or puppy. Its not a case of can't\won't pay these prices but in my opinion there are dogs (including RR) needing homes due to a change of circumstance. I'd rather meet our needs and at the same time help a dog needing a loving home.
MW.

I can see what you meant now, sorry. I can see where you are coming from and as you are experienced you will understand the need for care if rescuing a RR as people are not always truthful as to the reason for re-homing and you do not want a dog with either behavioural or health problems, or at least you will want to know what you are letting yourself in for.
