When they get into a large pack get themselves into trouble?

My boys alone and together are reasonably well behaved. My fathers Lab is also well behaved when he is on his own. You put them all together and mayhem takes hold. Any coats hanging up on hooks are being dragged down and shredded, a strimmer harness has been chewed, the back door mat, shoes etc. Toilet rolls shredded around the garden. I'm clever and have removed all my belongings and always close the toilet door, someone moans bit time but leaves their items laying about - not sure they have much to complain about really.

Why do they do this and any way of stopping them misbehaving when they are together? I can be in the next room and come back out 5 mins later to find a certain yellow dog chewing something    lol...
The Lab has found a way of keeping himself amused, jumping onto our table and jumping up to the pegs on the line and pulling them down, clothes and all..   I do find it amusing but alas some people are not finding it so..

It's not just Labs suejaw.  There was a good breeze today, and I had started pegging out stuff on the line, and went back indoors to get another load.

Came out to find a Chihuahua jumping up, grabbing my top in her teeth - and swinging!!! 

Its a bit like children ! On there own fine in groups well totally different ! Love the idea of the chihuahua swinging off your top JeanSW

I had a boxer that loved swinging from the rotary drier. I used to hang a couple of rubber dog rings on a short rope from the corners of the rotary drier and he used to run the length of the garden, leap, grab a ring and swing round and round and round ( it was rather like the roundabouts that have seats on chains that swing madly out to the side when the roundabout spins ) this kept him amused for ages. Maybe you could set up a few games like this for the 'gang' when they are all together to help them let off steam.

Out on usual walk the other day with my two labs my friend with her lab,goldie, the goldie shot off into the fields chasing a pheasant she would not come back so my two shot off after her when i tried to call my two back I noticed that there were pheaseant chicks in the cornfield,one of the dogs must of stood on one of the chicks and the other one ate it,this episode has upset me.

My sister had one yesterday, she knew her dog had been on the kitchen counter as there was a paw print in her butter!! ..

At least she still had the butter,one of mine swiped a whole pie and they all sat there as I demanded to know which one did the deed looking sooo innocent!!

So true, but girls will be girls too. My lot think it's great fun grabbing the carrier bag for the recycling and shredding it, and all the paper, containers etc that's in it. We've had to move our bins into the garden, because they loved to raid them (we have general waste and recycling swing tops), and we seem to get loads of packaging, so we hang a carrier on the handles of the kitchen cabinet and fill it throughout the day, decanting to the main bin at night (or whenever we leave the house!!). We can never be sure who instigates it, but we think it's Dolly our eldest, on the basis that when we come in, she's always sitting or laying in her perfectly clean bed, looking angelic, whilst the other 2 have evidence of their guilt in their beds.

When I walk the girls, and leave the beastie boy at home, I never return to any mess. Took the boy out yesterday morning for the first shift, returned to shredded carrier bag. They've even taken to opening some of my post for me, to save me the chore!

lol GSP collects the post and puts the newspapers away....and  I always know where to find the Dominos menu .... he is such a tidy chap all neatly under his mattress!!

Finally a cheerful topic, it did make me laugh, especially JeanSW's dogs antics.

All i can say is the same as everyone else, boys will be boys lol.  Mine can get up to mischief, including tag teaming me.
