planning in advance for my AI mating i have found a storage facilty, have done reaseach about timing etc. Progestrone testing seems the way to go but does anyone know anywhere which does same day results? I know the usual labs such as Iddex however by the time the results get back to the vet they are have changed. An hourish from cardiff or bristol south wales any idea for a lab?

Does the repro place not do them in house?  The colour change ones like premate can be done in house with results same day, but they are not quite as accurate, but accurate enough for natural breeding.

has to be bloods for ai, wish it was the other would be far easier.

Yes I know, but do the people who store do their own 'blood' testing.

There is a canine reproduction facility in Warrington Cheshire.They store semen,perform AI with frozen semen and have an in house progesterone testing machine the same one as idexx have.I used them last year with semen that I brought in from Australia,the result was 10 pups which is a massive number in my breed
