Has anyone got a Heat Lamp for sale or can anyone tell me the best place to buy one from preferably in the North Lincolnshire area?

Most agricultural merchants stock heat lamps and their accesories. Try Platts Harris at Epworth if you are anywhere near them

What exactly is the heat lamp you are looking for?. I mentioned this to the farmer next to me as I read your post and was'nt to sure what you meant. He uses sodium discharge lamps of250 & 400w for his chicken shed and for lambs born too early. He says they are the same lamps as the street lamps.(orange ones) You also get blue ones (metal halide too bright). You can buy them from any electrical wholesale company as they are used a lot in factorys. He say's a low bay fitting would be best as its a self contained unit and cost about £50.
