Despite having bookmarked the site exactly as stated in the HELP feature, and as mentioned in one of your earlier replies, when I come back to the site it is still showing answers as NEW that I have already looked at (although the box at the left of the topic is ticked showing I have already seen everything). What am I doing wrong?

Joan , this happened to me as well . Check Marks answer in the cons question . It has sorted my problem out .

I am not sure why this I happening.

Try this link http://www.champdogs.co.uk/cgi-bin/board/forum.pl and then click it again. That should clear all the new post flags. If that fails does pressing "Refresh" on your browser do anything ?
