We lost a valuable member of the family on saturday the house still doesnt seem the same we are absoloutly heartbroken.She was 61 days pregnant and suddenly fell realy poorly so went in for an emergency c-section but went into shock under the op,we are now handrearing 3 of the pups others were already dead inside her I hope we are doing her proud where ever she is,i hope shes with my nan who started my love for this breed  (gsd) when i was in nappies.Absoloutly heartbroken cant express into words.

Hope the puppies are ok, have you looked at seeing if you can get a foster mother ?

What a terrible terrible thing to happen, everyone on here's worst fears i imagine when we breed a litter.

Hi everyone sad new puppies didnt make it we are heartbroken vet said its because they are prem and their lungs couldnt cope totaly gutted,but atleast they with their mum now

How very sad, to have lost Evy and some pups initially was awful but to now lose the remaining pups is devastating.
