Well......I was a little annoyed when I first read the post, being a little sensitive to the issue at the moment:(

I felt that this included a dig at my post a couple of days ago and I HOPE that this is not the case.
We have been in the world of dogs for over 10 years and have a combined total of 62 years in the medical profession, whilst this has nothing to do with the issue, we could do nothing to stop the events that transpired, that doesn't mean we are novice or irresponsible, but unfortunately it's down to sheer bad luck.
You will never stop indiscriminate breeding by people who probably have never and will never log onto a forum such as this.
I think that the majority of people that use this site do so to glean information and advice from amateurs and professionals alike.
Having read the post a few more times I hear what's being said, but it's like preaching to the converted, those that use this site will probably agree with trying to stamp out irresponsible and indiscriminate breeding for either financial gain or purely for the sake of it,but those who are out there for that purpose will probably not take any notice of the post at all.
This post will annoy and irritate the vast majority of people who are responsible and are well aware that breeding is not a bed of roses, and I doubt whether anyone reading the post will be encouraged to re consider breeding or not.
Or maybe I am being TOO naive!!!
