I have a cross stitch book of gundogs (In show stances, but US show stances) that I will exchange - can't think for what though! - for anyone that's interested, some nice designs amongst them. Only breeds not featured that are in the UK are Irish R&W and Munster.

Erm, I'm not sure what to suggest. I bought this cross stitch book on ebay to give to someone who does a lot of cross stitch but they already have it!!!!!!! Can't exactly send it back to the US!

Don't know how much you paid and therefore whether you can afford to do this but how about an auction with the proceeds going to rescue (this is how I ended up with 20 years worth of American Dobe mags recently ) - you could offer it in the dog press?

Yes, youngest son is a vet - but not a lot of b..... use when he lives 200 miles away.......get fed up with 'Oh Mum, how can I see that down the phone?'
