There is a lady in west kingsdown affix sagaro ( not sure how it is spelt ) she breeds long and short coats, she is in the yellow pages because they also do boarding.

Sorry about your loss.

There is a breeder in Kent I saw on the champdogs website whilst I was looking for a long haired GSD too. The Kennels name is Bozeta, www.bozeta.co.uk

Try this weblink: http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/pastoral_german-shepherd_breeders.html

Hi Sue

When did you lose Shelly? I too am looking for a long coat GSD pup for sometime in the New Year, as I lost my beautiful long haired girl (age 91/2) on 3 December, so not ready yet, but thought I would prepare in advance. Otherwise I feel that I will get to a point where I need another GSD TODAY, and then i'll get it all wrong. Could you share any information you get? I am really worried about selecting the right breeder. I have seen a site for long haireds called Nyrvana German Shepherds (not sure where they are) but have had no feedback on what they are like as breeders...hmmm might post a new question. There is a breeder with the Affix Dreamcoat, but apparently it is to be avoided at all costs and they are in Kent. Please do let me know if you have any luck, and I'll do the same. I have posted question on searching site too, but just saw your message (deja vu).

Good luck

Hi sue,

I recently lost my black GSD Storm he was a Dreamcoat and he was absolutely wonderful but I have heard about this a long time ago.  He was twelve years of age when I lost him and his temperament was absolutely wonderful.

But have met a couple from this kennel name who were not - also I do feel that some of temperament can be tamed via the owner - which I feel I did do with Storm.

I am looking for another Dreamcoat and have not come up with anything and then my friend found this web site.  The original breeders that I got Storm from have stopped breeding GSDs and now breed Labradors and I know it is for money. So I was wondering whether you have got the number for the breeder in Kent just to see if they have the same line as my Storm.

Thanks ever so much

Got to laugh - when I sent I realised it but it was too late.  Oh Never mind.  Maybe if anyone sees it they might know of a breeder in Kent that would know.

Thanks for replying though

Hi Eileen

I was the second poster back in 2002!, and just received the notification of a reply to my post :-)  I don't know if it helps but we rescued and rehomed a Dreamcoat GSD oh nearly 9 years ago now, and had a copy of her pedigree. The name of the breader was Mrs J Penton-Stewart, and I believe she was the breeder with the Dreamcoat affix. If it helps you track them the dogs regn no with the kennel club is X0164907X01. I don't know whether they are still breeding.

I now am the proud owner of two beautiful GSDs, one black and gold, and one all black long coat from the same breeder, he might know about Dreamcoat, as he is in Kent too, and not too far away. Google Bozeta GSD's. He is still breeding, as I went to help socialise his latest litter of pups a few weeks back ! Temperaments to die for!

Hope this helps
Katrina
