can someone tell me what is barf?
should my dobe be on it ?

B.A.R.F. stands for Bones and Raw Food or Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (or as far as I am concerned means vomit as I prefer the phrase feeding raw :-) )

As to whether your Dobe SHOULD be on it - No. There is no "should" in regard to the type of food you feed your dog. The choice of what you feed him is entirely up to you, I feed my Dobermanns on raw (ie chicken frames, wings, legs, breasts of lamb (with bones), liver, heart, lights, tripe, raw minced/pureed vegetables and fruit and fish when I can get it).

I am happy with them on this feeding regime as their coats are good (even when moulting they stay shiny which they never used to), their teeth are clean and their excrement minimal. I am also hoping that their internal health will improve and the risk of cancers diminish bearing in mind how many cancers have been associated with processed foods, chemicals, colourings etc.
