On the 6th December my friends 10yr old male golden retriever was stolen from his kennel in the small hours.Alerted by the dogs barking she found two of her dogs gone,one a puppy was recovered and is recovering at the Glasgow Vetinary School from multiple breaks to his foot and leg.The other is still missing
despite desperate searching,posters,national press,vets, police,dog wardens etc.
Friends have also put details on the U.K.Goldens site and the S.k.C.site.
So I thought I would also place it here.
There is a cash reward leading, no questions asked to the safe return of her very much loved pet/show dog and the children are missing him dearly.
So if anyone knows of anyone who has acquired pale golden older male retriever
over the last few weeks especially in the Glasgow area would contact me to pass on any information to her.
I'm just in the process now of building kennels for my Goldens and are having to try to make them as secure as possible i'm installing cctv around the kennels and my partners koi pond I think it is so sad that we now have to do this.
It appears there is alot of dogs going missing arond 40 dogs alone have been taken in Lincolnshire alone .So please keep your eyes and ears open and to report any thing suspious no matter how small and perhaps we can help prevent another family going though the heartache of finding your dog stolen and wondering wether you would ever see them again.

I'm in Scotland and I will post this on the westhighlands board, where a lot of our members are scottish, I hope they find this dog soon, I hate to hear of these things happening, it makes you more careful when letting the dogs into the garden.

Thanks Irene my friend will be most grateful for any help she can get.I used to live near Elgin Moray but moved down to Sleaford in Lincolnshire so
i'm spreading the word down here and at shows.Although i'm getting reports of stolen dogs up and down the country being sent to Ireland.
