I replied to a message from a Guest yesterday enquiring about Basset Hound puppies. I responded to this post and it then disappeared off the Visitors Questions. Later on the Guest posted another requests and again I have replied to her post, but again this has been deleted :-(

Have I done something wrong :-(

Dessie ..not Admin ..just me :-) ...had the guest left contact details (email address or phone number)? If a guest posts on Visitors Q's and doesn't leave any contact details the post will be removed ...

Melody is correct:

Visitors are required to provide an email address/contact details with their post, so that breeders etc, can contact them direct. Any Guest post enquiring about the availability of puppies, that does not have any contact details is removed. Visitors are warned before they post, that posts will be removed if they do not provide contact details.

The Terms of Service prohibits breeders from advertising their litters on the forum.

I hope this clarifies matters

Incidently, The visitors question forum was introduced so that visitors to the site could ask their initial question without having to go to the hassle of registering. It was never intended for repeat postings. Repeat posts will be removed as soon as we spot them.
