it didn't suit my dogs - bad wind!! why don't you try Burns or Nutro?
By peanuts [gb] Date 01.04.03 21:34 GMT
Did not suit any of my four dogs , 2 newfs and 2 terriers mixes.
gave them all bad wind and very very bad upset tummy, i did as i should introduce it all very slowley over a two week period but they had the trots the whole time.

But what suits one will not suit another.

All my Labs have been on JWB and have not had too many problems. Min the eldest has collitts and this is one of the only foods that has helped in anyway with her conditon.

It does depend on the the individual dog at the end of the day !

Suited my older dogs well for many years, but didn't suit my now 3yo bitch - she was constantly itchy and had intermittent stomach problems. Neither problem has recurred since she was switched to Nutro.

my puppies didn't do very well on it at all. They were on the small side at six weeks and I decided to swap over to a different brand. Within two days no more runny bums and all eating like horses. In two weeks they were so big you wouldn't believe they were the same litter. I wouldn't ever use it again.

I changed my puppy (6 months old now) from Butchers to JWB and she seems to be doing well on it. I mix in a little fish, tinned tuna of coley each time as this tempts her to eat her food more. Not had any problems at all on it so far. She has been on it for 2 weeks now.

Hi Feddie

It maybe a rotten brand for you but for alot of people like myself find it a very good food !

As people have mentioned all dogs are different !

Might be worth if you are concerned about the food to conatct JWB and let them know the problems you have had.

Glad though you have found a suitable food now !
