There was a thread last year on the stomach toning belts etc, with a few champdoggers saying they were about to try them. Has anyone any feedback now or can recommend one of them. The Slendertone is £99 in the Next Directory which is rather a lot of cash if is wasn't to work. The rest of me is fine, I am just having difficulty with that little bit of after baby flabby tummy syndrome!! Although I expect hoping it to work before our holiday in 6 weeks may be a little unrealistic!!! :D

Thanks in advance

Hayley

The one I have sat on top of my wardrobe doesn't seem to be doing much for me ............

Oh yes, used it religiously at first, as with all gadgets. Soon tails off, though .......... maybe I ought to get it back out again?!?!

Does it work Jeangenie? Maybe we could use it on non-poo-pickeruppers, a doggie sense of justice!!! :D

I have the slendertone flex and the b&T and the answer to your question is no, I wouldnt waste your money unless you are stick thin and only have a slight bump, I used mine everyday for weeks and its made no difference at all.Your best bet to do stomach exercises on a daily basis as this is far more effective.

What do you reckon are the best stomach exercises (I hate those roller frame thingies - not sure of their proper name!)

I find Calenetics solely for stomach the best or Pilates
By chaliepud (****) [gb] Date 17.04.03 21:45 GMT
I think Pilates is a bit too calm for me, I'm not very good at being calm! I don't really know about Callenetics, will have to look it up, It would be nice to do something that works quick (it's only a small bit of flab!!!) but it is only 6 weeks to the holiday, maybe only a miracle will do!!:-)

Callanetics certainly work! Half an hour or so of mixed exercises a day for a few weeks will make you look much trimmer (not that you don't already! ;-) )

My sister in law swears by callanetics :-)
