can anyone tell me where you can still get the plastic balls that you put the soap in and then use in your washing machine, not the brittle type but the thick clear ones, im desperatley seeking several, i have bought loads of dog toys etc and one of my dogs will play with nothing else, the current one is looking well past its best ,can anyone help, other than one of these balls the dog wont play with anything else at all,ive not seen them in the shops for a long while now as its either tablets or sacks etc---if anyone has any spare i'm more than happy to pay the postage costs,

They know what they like don't they? One of mine is the same, only in his case it's a house brick. You fall over it, stub you toe on it, he drops it on you foot or lap, even if you lap contains your dinner already. To say nothing of what it is doing to his teeth, but try as I might I can't get him to transfer his attention to some thing else no matter how much I pay for it.

That was no help to you was it?

Wonder what other peoples pets have taken a liking for? JH

Hi dizzy, really sorry, but I've thrown loads of those away. Have you thought of looking in the toy department of 'Woolworths'. They have many interesting looking balls and plastic things (safe)that I have bought for my dogs. The great favourite is the 'Action Man Tunnel', cost me about £24 but lasted three years and great fun for playing in and hiding in!!

you wouldnt believe what i've bought and tried, it has to be the plastic bubble, she wont even pick anything else up. its like a light switches on when i give her it and she plays for ages with it, its looking a bit worn and i desperatley need some new ones, the strange thing is her mother was excactly the same,,apart from she'd play with a tug rope thingy too,i dont think we have any spare house bricks so wont be trying that either!!!!!i need plastic soap balls badly, surely someone must have some lurking somewhere, or work somewhere that have old stock or something, its getting so thin i'm nearly frightened to give her it anymore! help!!

Dizzy

have you tried empty plastic pop bottles. My two go nuts over them and they cost nowt and are readily available. Just keep an eye on the tops, make sure they're screwed on really tight. The bottle then keeps its shape and bouncability. they're goo d because they can get their teeth around the neck and and chase each other around and around - just keep your legs out of the way :D

Give it a go - you could be in for a surprise.

yes i've used them ,the other dogs love them, going round and round in circles trying to grab the lid,i usually put something inside so it rattles and bangs this gets them used to noise a bit -but for the pain it has to be a plastic ball-honestly ive shown dogs foe nearly 20 yr now and have tried out most things but this is really the only thing she'll take any interest in.---surely someones got some soewhere theyve forgotten about,

Drew a blank there then. Have you tried contacting Proctor and Gamble 0800 222 120. They may be able to help. Otherwise - sorry can't help.

My dogs are just the same with plastic bottles. The milk ones are great with a handle as it's easy for them to hold. Great fun when all 3 of them are running around the back garden with them and when they bark it's nice and low!!
