The Looney One (Libby) loves raw carrot, apple, ice cubes etc, now I've discovered she loves strawberries. Is it ok to give them to her (without the cream I must add! )

i'd be interested to know that too - archie loves strawberries and raspberries - he couldn't quite work out what to do with rasps at first, would chew then spit out, then chew then spit until it had disappeared!
i give him one or 2 rasps or a slice of strawb VERY occasionally (not sure what effect it will have on his no 2's! - yuck)
i can't think there'd be anything wrong with it at all as long as its an occaisional treat - prob quite good for them to get some fruit!

All my dogs have eaten fruit - they 'pick their own' from the garden! They help themselves to strawberries, raspberries, currants, apples, pears - anything they can lay their teeth into! They have learnt that if they have to pull hard at the berries, they aren't ripe yet, and leave them for another day. I've even found that some of the apples still growing on the trees (the trees are espaliered, so the fruit is low down!) have tooth marks in them, where they have been tested for ripeness!

Their favourite season is autumn, when they can help themselves to wild blackberries when we walk around the fields!

What a lovely image that conjurs up, jg!!!! My Lhasa also loves fruit, and veg, and is more keen on that stuff than meat..especially loves apples...

I gave my fussy girl a strawberry and she spat it out! She loves any salad veg though and adores icecubes.

my 5 month old staffy loves apples, raw carrot, strawberrys, bananas, cucumbers, tomatoes and specially grapes. i buy her the "bag of fruit" if i ever go to mc donalds to get me a burger!!!! :D
.. and i buy her baby foods with friuts . the kind in glass jar from supermarkerts like, Heinz apple and banana desert. or Heinz summer fruit. she totally loves them.

At Christmas I have to buy extra Satsuma's my Poacher sits and drools as soon as anyone peels one!!!

Hudson drools over satsumas and oranges but if you give him a piece he just rolls on it :D

My girls wait at the freezer door hoping that the odd frozen chip might fall out. Peeling potatoes is a nightmare because they adore them too.

Murph loves ice cubes in this hot weather! he's so black that he just soaks up the sun so needs lots of cooling down:)

Strawberries, satsumas are among his favourite. So are grapes but they're not good for dogs.
