I see they've got money off vouchers for some of their pups, and some are in their 'bargain basement' sale department. Wonder what they do with them if nobody comes to the bargain basement?

Please tell me it couldn't happen in this country

Hi Jo,
If they can't sell these dogs in the bargan basement, they bundle three together, and sell them as one 'Japanese Fighting Elkhound Sleddog'.
I hear that they sell like hot cakes!!!!

Why the choice of breds, they haven't got Elkhounds in have they?

Sorry Brainless,
Got my threads in a twist. Read the thread about 'Wolves' below and applied them to Jo's bargan basement posting. Just my very warped sence of humour.

this is appalling.......all those cross breds were bad enough but did you see those so called whwt pure breds???????
Were they AKC registered? (the pure breds) I didn't look that closely!

I had been steered to this site by my Breed list, the worst thing is the patter makes it seem so reasonable. The justification of the crosses as better than the real thing etc. I thought the Shibas and Keeshonds pictures I saw on this site were pretty awful looking examples!

That is unbelieveable They say the RSPCA support them but little do they realise that the RSPCA dont support what they do!
By Bec [gb] Date 07.10.01 18:29 GMT
I also note that NONE of the pups are registered with the KC but the UK Pedigree Dogs Registration Club whom ever they are!
By fleetgold [gb] Date 07.10.01 18:56 GMT
The UK Pedigree Dogs Registration club is their own creation, and therefore their own registration.

How many of these 'Dog Registries' do we know of, there is 'The Dog Lovers' (Pardon while I am sick), now this Uk pedigree dog register...

Not true Bec. They know all too well that the RSPCA do not support them but they don't give a damn!!!!

Joan (who has the misfortune to live about 2 1/2 miles away from this awful establishment - and who constantly sees the poor dogs who come from there at my dog club etc.)

No they say they support the RSPCA, and have a rehoming policy!

Well I rang the UK PDR whatever yesterday and much to my surprise the phone was answered (I expected an ansa phone) and surprise surprise they had a welsh accent!! I asked them how much it costs apparently its £5 a pup for a 3 generation pedigree and a certificate. It doesnt matter that I dont know the background of my adult dogs they will still accept the pups for registration with a 3 gen ped! So I thought of making up a pedigree using KC names of all different breeds then registering a 'litter' of puppies!
