I am coming up with my youngest, am in a quandary over Stakes classes v Breed Classes. I have entered Open stkes under T Mather, but it is scheduled at 10am, probably before bitches are judged! I have also entered in Champion Stakes, but with luck the breed may be done by then, so shouldn't be a problem knowing if I should withdraw, it would just be my luck to win and already be beaten, or if i don't go in Stakes do badly in breed! Do you know anthing about T Mather? the Ch Stakes judge does our breed I know (doing Manchester next year I think).

He is principally a Toy judge, judges most breeds within the toy group and certainly knows his dogs. Not sure what he is like with hounds.

I love my variety classes, so I think I will risk it and exhibit in the stakes, with her being a young bitch it will be good for her! I just hope that should I be lucky to win in the breed, that I do not go BOB!

I love the variety classes also,(that is another word for Import register isn't it?) only kidding. I'll be there on Saturday with my SWD's.
I've entered the Open stakes too as our breed is 2nd after Saluki's
Tom Mather at one time showed a Pharaoh / some years ago / can't
remember if he owned or handled.

OFFLINE IS NOT OUT OF MIND
It's the BGV Club Champ show on Saturday so not doing Midland Counties on Sunday as it is quite a distance from us. Probably aren't any classe scheduled for Grands anyway (there wasn't last year).
I'll come 'hunting' if I've got time
Pam
