Junior has this and will be 4 at the end of February. He is very bald on the tail area. Do you think using dermacidal soap, oxy 10, epi-coat-one of these will bring back his hair since it has been such a long time with out hair, could the hair follicles already be dead and no chance? It doesn't bother him at all, just looks well bald. Just want to know before I go out and purchase this stuff on what the chances would be.....Having this doesn't harm him at all does it? It would just be for looks then right?

This is very common in both dogs and bitches. It doesn't harm them in any way. I know many people who've had success with Oxy 10, and certainly picking up a small bottle won't set you back too much. I put it on Savannah once a day, and eventually it worked, though you could probably put it on twice a day.

No guarantees - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Certainly no harm in leaving it if you wish:)

Well its like 1/3rd down his tail...He doesn't have much of a tail and he doesn't chew it at all so I assume this is what he has, being a boston his tail is only 2 to 3 inches long (he takes more after the terrier then the bulldog). It's bald but more in a straight line and doesn't quite come to the tip of his tail but almost. Yup pretty bald there. He has had it for a long time and it hasn't changed at all.
