can anyone suggest where to try for reasonably priced weldmesh fencing panels for a dog run. I have tried the ones generally advertised in the dog papers but am trying to find the most competitive price.

Hi, when I built my new kennels with big runs a couple of years ago I was horrified at the price of the fencing panels. So I bought the weldmesh from Moncaster - Tel: 015070600666, the box sections from a local firm and had a welder make it all up at home- he made the gates from the box section (which we had galvanised- the galvanisers picked up up, galvanised it all and delivered it back again) and we had a local handy man help Steve to put it all up. I think it would have cost about £3000 if I had bought them ready made, and this cost me less than £1000. I suppose it depends how many runs you want to have as to whether it would be worth all that "faff". But I got exactly what I wanted for the cheapest possible price!! can you tell my dad was a Scot!!

PS. Moncaster do ready-made panels too.
