Hi

Some 6 weeks ago I had to have my beautiful dog Jake put to sleep due to an illness that there was no cure for. it took my a long time to convince myself that I had done the eright thing in having hime PTS as I would have done anything and paid any price to make him better. Shortly after losing Jake I had a dream that he was running in fields boundign through wild flowers trying to get to us but could't due to an invisable barrier, when I looked in on my calander it would have been his 3rd birthday i think that it was his way of telling me that he was now out of pain and at peace, since then I managed to cope a little better ut miss him like mad, We decided to have another staff shortly after which has eased some of them pain but he will never be forgotten as he was so special.

It's sad to lose a dog at any age, but under 3yr is so very tragic.
Thinking of you.

What an unfairly early age to lose a dog. :-(

I too have dreamed of my past dogs running happily in a 'garden', that has flowers and trees, and meadows and hills, the weather was beautiful, and all was peaceful. It gave me great comfort to see them young and happy again. There were other dogs there too, but they weren't 'in focus', and none of them were squabbling. It was a lovely place for them to wait.
:-)

Hi,
It's very say when any dog, or any pet come to that, dies. But it's especially sad when they haven't had the chance to live out a long, fulfilled life. I'm sure the short life he had, you made wonderful for him.

bless you,i said that when my rottie died last year that i would not get another as we had 2 left.Within a week of her death i gave in and came home with a neo .Best thing i ever did and she is wonderful.I have had a dream that i went down stairs and she was lying in her usual spot and was looking up at me,and i knelt down to hold her and i sobbed.I then woke up and my pillow was wet with tears.I will never forget her and i cherish the memories,if anyone says"its just a dog",than they know nothing of the love or that a dog/man relationship is unique and quite frankly i would give my left leg to have a relationship as loving as that with a human. take care and thinking of you xxxxxx
