Sheba was our lovely GSD, we lost her on 1st August at the age of thirteen and a half years. She was having trouble with her back legs and was incontinent.
She was the best friend anyone could have, so gentle and she knew your every mood.
As a puppy she was the worlds worst chewer, as she grew she became a terrible thief, she loved everyone and knew that they all loved her. We will really miss her, I am even crying as I write this.
Thank you Sheba for the last 13.5 years. You will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you to everyone who replied to my message as a visitor on champ dogs about our loss, it was a great comfort. I think the rainbow bridge is a lovely idea, and will bring comfort to lots of people.
We now have a 13wk old cocker spaniel puppy called Cassie, she will never replace Sheba, but she has her own special place in our hearts and has helped greatly to ease the pain.
Hi Jayne
I lost my 12yr old GSD X in August. She also was incontinent, arthritis, blind and heart failure. Hearing about your Sheba, so reminded me of my Tess...she was soooo loving and knew my every mood.
I still miss herlike mad, but we planted a nice bush in the garden in her memory. It helped the kids grieve for her.
I hope your new addition is helping you over your sad loss.
<<Big hugs>>

Thanks for all your messages, its good to hear from people who understand how it feels to lose a pet, I dont think that people who have never owned a pet understand the special relationship you have with them.
Sheba was a very special friend, I am going to get a picture of her enlarged so that I can put it into a frame.
Thanks
So sorry, thinking of you xxx

The family's first GSD died at 13years. Her name was Sheba too. She was the best dog in the world, a pure gem. Time is a good healer though but memories live forever. RIP Sheba your with lots of new doggy friends now
Jayne,
So sorry to hear of your loss, I know how awful it is.
Sheba must have been a beautiful girl.
Our thoughts are with you.
Enjoy Cassie...she'll never take Sheba's place, but you'll love her just as much.
Take care
Lisa
