My cat went through a phase when he wouldn't eat. He was on a complete dry food (Royal Canin) at the time and the Rep. told me that unlike dogs, cats are stimulated to eat by smell. He advised me to pour some hot water onto the dry food (then cool it) so that the smell intensified. It worked :-). I don't do this all the time, only when he is being picky. I must say that unlike the dogs, I do vary the cats diet. They seem to appreciate variety.

If cats like the smell, why not use a dissolved stock cube on its dry food - if they like variety, then there's beef, lamb and chicken to choose from. It works on one of my dogs who is a renowned picky eater.

I found that tuna (ie.the tinned version in brine for human consumption) worked for my cat (he is 14 years old)when his appetite was poor.
When his appetite picked up we went back to his normal food.
Worth a try anyway.Hope something works soon.
Just a thought your cat wouldn't have a blockage inside caused by a furball???

thanks for all the advice I dont think she has a furball as she has been checked up and found to be healthy just perhaps getting over fussy but we have tried so many things just had a thought I wonder if she is visiting another house for meals LOL

Never thought of that as my cat is a house cat. However my neighbour has 2 cats of her own and several others come to be fed so you are probably right about somebody else feeding her!!
Well at least she is okay.
