"Gone to Ground"
My beautiful boy went to the bridge this morning. Although never a champion in the showring, he was a champion in his heart. He was the finest all round dog I have ever known.
He lived his life as a Border Terrier should do, he went rough shooting with my son, he showed his socks off in the ring, (he took my son to 3rd in the JHA Junior Handler of the Year final). He was a brilliant stud dog a gentleman to all his bitches.
I can remember the day he went shooting in the morning, got covered in bramble and mud, came home, dried off and then went Best in Show at an Exemption Show in the afternoon.
He died as he lived with dignity, he slipped quietly away this morning after waiting for everyone to wake up.
He lives on here at Pipruda, his name will always be remember with our affix, and he has left a dynasty here in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hunt well Pip by the bridge, till we meet again
Bye my man we loved you.
OFFLINE IS NOT OUT OF MIND
Hi
Very sorry for your loss this morning. He sounded like he had a wonderful life with you and your family and you should be proud that you have given him so much love.
I will be thinking of you.
Take care
Jannine

What a happy life you gave him, Lady D. If only all dogs were as fortunate.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Sorry to hear that sad news but as you say, he lives on.
Dawn.
