Had anybody else entered this show for Saturday? Received my entry back today to say that it had been cancelled due to lack of entries. How are we going to turn open shows around?

It annoys me when people only go to champ. shows and never support the rest. Showing dogs will turn into only the people who can afford to pay higher fees going to big shows and there'll be no open or limit ones.

I'v shown for over 20 years and love going to the smaller shows.

Thats so sad The Fylde show was always a nice one to go to,I havent really had any decent dogs to show for a while but now have two pups Harry & Minnie just six months so am looking for shows for them.Dont you find now though that with Postage etc.. being expensive that the Societys dont send the shedules out like they used to at one time if you entered one show you were on their list and regularly got them,When you see the cost of entering a Champ Show with petrol etc.. it makes you wonder why open shows are sufferring,they are much more Fun and friendly.
