Daisy died a year ago today.  She was an 8 year old Yorkie who was so full of life.  All of a sudden she became very lethargic and couldn't walk anymore and so we took her to the vets who said that she had hurt her back and so gave her a shot of steroids to help.  3 days later she was no better and so we took her back to the vets and saw another vet who sent her into the vetinary hospital where they found out that she had been bleeding internally into her womb.  They operated imediately, doing an emergency histerectomy removing her womb that was filled with 1.5lbs of blood and puss.  It was too late and she died after the operation.

I still want to cry now when I think of how much pain she must of been in prior to our first visit to the vets and then for the further 3 days after that.  No one she knew was with her when she died and she wasn't even at home with familier smells.

Rest in peace sweetheart - your not forgotton....xxxx
