I work as a shop manager for the Wine Cellar in St Anne's Blackpool where I was approached by a customer two years ago, and asked if I wanted to buy the small dog which was wrapped up in her arms, when I looked at the dog it was the most beautiful little puppy that I had ever set eyes on, first of all I could not believe that it was eight weeks old because of its size, and I bought him there and then for £25.
I named the dog Buster.
After a few days, I noticed that Buster had trouble with his breathing, and a visit to the vet confirmed that he was a Toy Manchester Terrier, with a hole in his heart.
Buster has lived for a short time having passed away at 12.20 on the 11th of December, having suffered several heart attacks during his short life.
I have owned other dogs during my life, I new nothing about Toy Manchester Terriers, but my experience of living with one had brought an understanding unique to this breed, which brough with it the highest standard of loyalty, love, affection and happiness.
I have found it hard to find that my local and not so local RSPCA are unable to find breeders for this dog, and my search of the internet has connections mostly in America.
Please if anyone could help point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful.
